About me

As a young dancer, I started off doing standard and latino dances, jazz dances and hip hop, until I came across Arabic bellydance in the year 2000. I have been intensely engaged in Oriental Dance and their culture since then.By the year 2003, I had already started teaching my own groups of belly-dancing for beginners, mid-level and advanced level classes. To this date, I attend different classes and Workshops in Switzerland and other foreign countries for Arabic bellydancing, Indian Dance, Flamenco, Afro Dance and Standard- and Latino Dancing. In order to improve my skills in Oriental Dancing, I fall back on the dancer and choreographer, Nur El Leil, for the classic Raqs Sharki and the teachings of Oriental Rhythm.

in 2006 I begann with the classical indian dances, Kathak and Kuchipudi. Through my long workperiods as phystiotherapist in foreign countries I got traind in indian dances. Since 2008 Im even teaching Bollywood Dance and Classic indian Dance.

All my inspiration in my dance activ hollidays influence my way of teaching for fantasy styles like polynesian Dance - Tahiti, Sega - Mauritius, Caribian - Merengue.

With all my knowledge of diffrent dances and their culture I can do intresting mixes and fantasy Styles in Bellydance and Tribal Style Fusions.

Untill today im training for the perfection in classical oriental dance, thats why im still a student in the further formation class of Awalem Dancer with the famous dancer, Choreographer and Tutor Assale Ibrahim. 2010 I complete the Masterclass of the Awalem formation.

Objectives for my dance classes

One of my main goals in my dance class is to get to know new movements and foreign dance figures. The teachings of the Rhythm, learning different styles of Oriental Dance and indian Dance and their Dance-Culture is important in my dance classes. The other objectives are learning the technical dancing rules, to train our bodies and to have fun while dancing.
