History of Zanubiya

The Zanubiya Dance Group was formed in the year 2003 by their tutor, Venia Zanubiya. In the beginning, this Oriental Dance Group consisted of 4 dancers only, who trained once a week. By the second year, the Zanubiya`s consisted of 8 active members.

The following year, the Zanubiya Dance Group started getting bookings for public shows in theatres, weddings and special events in restaurants.Presently, the founder, Venia Zanubiya, is teaching a few groups oriental dance for beginners all the way to the Advanced level stages.
