How the Arabic translation goes, “Oriental Dance”, is the classical style of Egyptian Belly Dancing. The music of Raqs Sharqi is classic traditional Arabic music. This style of belly dancing can never be missed in any oriental show. It is the typical 1001 Arabian nights dance and music.

The veil Dance
The veil gives Oriental Dancing a mysterious touch. Belly dancers usually like to start their show dancing with a veil, to soft and slow music. To know how to swing a veil in the correct way is an art of the Belly Dancer.

Tabla Solo
The Mazhar and the Darabukka are 2 of the important Tablas (Drums), in Oriental Dance. This kind of dancing, on Tablas, is called, Shimmy which is a crown in every Oriental Dance show.
With the Shimmy the dancers show their know how to move the body to the beat of the drums with isolated, vibrated movements.
